This think has led me to this point of wanting to produce 10 reasons your business needs and must have a website if you want to be successful in today’s economy and environment.

10) The Internet is 15 years old

If you stop and think about it, the Internet as we currently know it was formed and released for mass appeal in 1994, which makes the Internet only 15 years old. Think about that, if the Internet was a human, then it would be a teenager. This means that it has no where reach it’s full potential. This is obviously everyday as we see the rapid changes.

This means that the potential for your growth and use of the Internet is virtually unknown with massive possibilities. Get out front of the curve and get involved.

A website increases your opportunity to strengthen your branding as a company and further position yourself into the hearts of your market place. If you don’t have a website, you are throwing away a relatively easy way to reach your market and potentially make them love you a little more. Think about it. This is another opportunity for them to see your logo, learn your slogan, and get some practical and useful information from you directly.

  1. I couldn’t agree with you more. There’s a realtor in my area that I see signs for all the time and one day my wife wanted to check out their site to see what kind of info they have since we’re considering moving to a bigger place. She Googled it and came up empty. She had to look up their phone number and when she asked for their domain they said they didn’t have a web site. Even my wife said, “Are you kidding me?”

    In this day and age there’s no excuse for even the smallest of companies to not have their own web site.
